On Saturday, July 18 come and enjoy an educational moment following the life of a grape, from its birth to its transformation into wine, and get to know the people behind the work.
Starting from the winery, we will carpool to the vineyards where we will meet a winegrower. We will spend about 1 hour in their plot discovering their work, the life cycle of a vine, as well as the grape varieties and appellations of our region. We will then head back to Cave de Tain and visit the winery: harvest delivery platform, vinification, as well as barrel-aging cellars.
After discovering the vineyards and the winery, we will conclude this educational morning with a tasting of 5 wines from each of the 5 appellations produced by Cave de Tain: Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Saint-Péray and… Hermitage!
Price: €45 per person
Time: 9am - 12pm
The tour will take place if a minimum of 6 participants is reached.
→ The choice of the appellation visited is depending on the winegrowers’s availability.
→ The activity may be cancelled, modified or postponed in the event of inclement weather.
