Come and enjoy an educational moment following the life of a grape, from its birth to its transformation into wine, and get to know the people behind the work.

Starting from the winery, we will carpool to the vineyards where we will meet a winegrower. We will spend about 1 hour in their plot discovering their work, the life cycle of a vine, as well as the grape varieties and appellations of our region. We will then head back to Cave de Tain and visit the winery: harvest delivery platform, vinification, as well as barrel-aging cellars.

After discovering the vineyards and the winery, we will conclude this educational morning with a tasting of 5 wines from each of the appellations produced by Cave de Tain.

Hike + tasting → €45 per person

Duration: approximately 3 hours (1,5 hrs in the vineyard (+ travel time) + wine tasting)

→ The choice of the appellation visited is depending on the winegrowers’ availability.

→ Participants will drive their own car to the plot of wine where the winegrower will be met. Participants are free to decide whether they want to carpool or not.

→ The activity may be cancelled, modified or postponed in the event of inclement weather.
